We are on top of the world! A squadron of twelve astonishing people representing Sporting Family Change ascended the dizzying-heights of 5,895 meters to reach the peak of the infamous Mount Kilimanjaro. The unforgettable expedition showed how physical activity can raise aspirations as we raised £13,000 – which to date has enabled us to give a family who have been victims of domestic abuse a short-break to Center Parcs; support more opportunities for young adults with learning disabilities to experience social activities with their peers; mentoring teenage girls at local secondary schools and family group sports sessions to improve fitness. We wish to thank everyone who donated for their generosity, contributing to making such opportunities possible. We have many more exciting future plans thanks to the money raised.
