Kindness Educators
Mentoring
We have been privileged enough to deliver mentoring to both primary and secondary school-aged children for over ten years now. Our mentoring is run through educational settings for students, with a diverse range of needs, but identified as needing additional support across the South West. The sessions are bespoke to the individual in our care, as we believe education should be engaging for everyone - that requires it to be personalised to each learner.
Nonetheless, our mentoring has the same overarching principles and aims for all learners that we are privileged enough to meet. These principles and aims are:
A flexible and caring approach, that is fully inclusive to all
Create a safe space for them to fully express themselves
Increase confidence and self-esteem
Address any difficulties experienced by the learner
Participate in new actives within a friendly environment
Improve behaviour and wellbeing
Support each individual to find the motivation and life skills to positively move forward and contribute to society

Kindness Programme
Our Kindness Programme is our new and innovative initiative to create social change. The programme is all, about, you guessed it - kindness! Delivered to both primary and secondary aged-students, the programme educates learners on the power of kindness and how if harnessed correctly, it can create a kinder society, but also a kinder world within. Focusing on topics of wellbeing, communities and self-awareness, the programme should result in learners having greater appreciation of kindness, empathy and how their actions can positively and negatively impact others.
The programme is supported by the Art of Brilliant team, who boast the only Doctor of Happiness - so clearly it’s worth knowing about!
Want to get yours students involved with the coolest, kindest, programme around? Let’s have a chinwag about kindness here!
Wellbeing Programme
Our Wellbeing Programme is delivered to secondary school students, and teaches them basic physical health and wealth information. The intention of the programme is to enable students to make healthy lifestyle choices and positively contribute to society, as they transition into young adulthood. The topics of the course include:
The wellbeing and body benefits to physical exercise
The names and functionality of muscles
Identifying healthy foods and macronutrients and why the body and mind requires energy from food
Creating a food and lifestyle budget
Understanding banking, payslips, loans and interest rates
The course is AQA accredited, with learners gaining a recognised certificate for passing the programme. We are delighted to share a Level 2 edition of the Wellbeing Programme is now available too, which builds on the topics covered in Level 1. For more information about the programme get in contact here.
Family Counselling
Now, we’re all about the positivity and kindness, but sometimes life means it isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. We are therefore very proud at the Charity to be able to deliver accessible, affordable and long-term counselling to the community. Hannah, is a BACP registered Integrative Counsellor, who has close to 30 years experience across neurodiversity, mental health, end-of-life care, education and addiction services. Her approach as a practitioner is to bring a non-judgemental, empathetic and approachable perspective. She often incorporates creative mediums within her framework, such as art, clay and sand tray therapy, with the intention to help individuals express themselves beyond verbal communication. These methods can foster deep self-understanding and help resolve internal conflicts and difficult emotions.
We believe that counselling should be accessible and affordable to the local community, which is not restricted by timeframes. Everyone should have quality mental health support when they need it most, irrespective of common barriers which restrict individuals access. Should you wish to make a referral, for yourself or on an individuals behalf then please fill in the contact form below.
