Charity Ball a Golden Success!
Our annual Ball is always the highlight of our year at the Charity and this year was no different. The theme was Going for Gold and the night certainly delivered in that sense as it encapsulated everything we are about - kindness. It also happened to be our highest-ever attendance, with over 260 people supporting us. Guests heard from many inspiring individuals within their local community; Maria Lewis, who told her story about how Sporting Family Change had positively impacted her daughter’s life, before inspiring her to run her first-ever half marathon in Paris during a tough time for herself. Rebecca Wiltshire followed Maria. She shared her story on how volunteering for us during the COVID-19 pandemic had resulted in joining us and the positive influence this had on her wellbeing. We would like to thank both our keynote speakers once again. We also featured our new Hall of Fame on the evening, which inducted local heroes to our hall of fame. The first-ever inductees were Cheryl Wiltshire, Vince Meredith, Lynda Deane and Ross Berry.
We would like to thank everyone who contributed to making the evening such a great success once more. Without your support it wouldn't have been possible! You can view all the fabulous photos from this year's event by clicking here.
