Charity announces Kindness Cards with Art of Brilliance! We are proud to announce that we have partnered with Art of Brilliance to launch a never-seen-before initiative using cards to create a kinder society.
In a world which is often overshadowed by negative news, we are here to change the narrative and showcase not only how kindness is really, really cool - but how harnessing the power of kindness can spread positivity, inspire compassion and create social change. The initiative to facilitate this calls upon individuals, families, businesses and communities to prioritise acts of kindness. By performing acts of kindness participants will contribute to 100,000 acts of kindness by the end of 2025. These acts can be however big or small, from buying a stranger a coffee to helping a neighbour in need, these all contribute towards the 100,000 acts and create a ripple of kindness throughout society.
In order to monitor the progression of these kind acts, participants will be tasked with leaving behind a Kindness Card which is evidence of their kind act, but also invites the recipient to pay the act forward onto the next person. Jimmy Deane, our founder, commented on the launch: “The Year of Kindness aims to counter the often overwhelming negativity in the world with a surge of goodwill. Each act of kindness creates a ripple effect, proving that small acts can lead to a significant uplift in mood.” Dr. Andy Cope, from Art of Brilliance, added: “I’ve spent two decades studying the science of human flourishing, and as a Dr of Happiness, I’m keen to get kindness embedded in the culture of local communities. The science is clear, the quickest way to feel good is do a good deed for someone else. The year of kindness is a win-win!”
The Kindness Cards will be officially launching on February 17th, which is Random Acts of Kindness Day. If you wish to join our kindness movement and create ripples of kindness within your local community, then get in touch and apply for boxes of the Kindness Cards here.
