Doctor of Happiness hosts Positive Wellbeing talk for Charity!
On Friday the 8th of September the Charity hired the only Doctor of Happiness to host two positive wellbeing talks in the community. Andy Cope, the self-proclaimed only Doctor of Happiness and a best-selling author, is a leading voice on positive wellbeing and human flourishing. After our founder, Jimmy Deane, discovered his award winning book ‘the Art of Being Brilliant’ he was enthused by the positive wellbeing tips Andy Cope advocated in his books. Consequently, the charity hired the Doctor of Happiness to lead on two positive wellbeing talks - firstly to local secondary school teenagers, and then to adults in the community. The aim of these talks to both groups within our local community was to provide some self-care tips, but also demonstrate the power of positivity and how we can all be kinder towards our our wellbeing.
Both events were a great success, with all attendees leaving the respective talks with a spring in their step. We would like to place on record our gratitude to Norton Hill secondary school, who kindly invited us into their school and provided a venue for the talk to be delivered in. You can view a selection of photos from both events below.
