Another sporting journey begins! Sporting Family Change recently hosted a social swimming event at Culverhay Leisure Centre with local families to mark the official launch of our Westonbirt Triathlon training. The meet-up was a great opportunity for everyone involved to get to know their fellow triathletes, whilst also taking a plunge in the water, having fun and practising a few lengths. The sprint triathlon consists of a 400M pool swim, a 24KM cycle ride followed by a 5KM run in May 2019 which will prove to be a physically and emotionally testing experience for the local families involved, but enormously gratifying. Let the fun sweat and tears commence!
